MULLER yogurts are being recalled from major supermarkets including Asda, Lidl, and Tesco as they could contain pieces of metal.
Aldi pulled single pots and six-packs from its Brooklea light range, which is supplied by Muller, from its shelves earlier this week.
But now Muller is urging shoppers to return yogurts from other shops including Asda, Morrisons, Sainsbury's, Tesco, and Waitrose.
Further UK-wide stores recalling the dodgy desserts include Booths, Dunnes, Farmfoods, Iceland, Nisa, Ocado, Spar, and TJ Morris.
Lidl has also said its Milbona range, which is supplied by Muller, is affected.
The recall is part of wider action taken by Muller following a fault in one of its factories.
MULLER has recalled the following products - check now to see if you've purchased any.
The company stated: "The decision follows the identification of a fault with a roller supporting belts used to transport fruit in the factory.
"The roller was misaligned potentially causing small pieces of metal to drop into the fruit."
It added that it found no metal in samples of the affected batches but is urging customers to return the yogurts as a "precautionary measure".
The products affected are largely from the dairy company's fruit corner range, including cherry, and blackberry and raspberry six packs, with use by dates of March 4, 2020.
Other varieties affected include Mullerlight six-packs in strawberry, cherry, and raspberry and cranberry with best before dates of March 7, 2020.
Lidl says its Milbona fat free Greek yogurt range in strawberry, and fat free yogurt, also in strawberry, are affected.
The best before date marked on the packs is March 4, 2020 - see the full listed of affected items in the box above.
Muller has stated that no other products aside from those listed on its website have been affected.
A statement from the Food Standards Agency said: "If you have bought any of the above products, do not eat them.
"Instead, return them to the store from where they were bought for a full refund."
Members of the public who are concerned can also contact Muller's consumer care team directly at [email protected] or 01630 692000.
Other recalls to look out for includes these Iceland "No Cheese" pizzas, pasties and macaroni which may contain milk.
While Lidl is recalling a type of oregano over fears it "could cause liver disease".
Tesco also fears its Cow & Gate baby food jars are unsafe after being "tampered" with.
